Smart grids
The energy sector currently is characterized by an overall paradigm shift on all levels. Especially the integration of information and communication technologies leading to an “internet of energy” plays an important role. Regulatory pressure forces large utilities to offer new energy solutions and services for consumers (smart meter, flexible electricity rates). Multi utility concepts integrate electricity, heating and water supply to complete energy management and service solutions. Electric vehicles, serving as electricity storage devices, complete the picture of a fully integrated internet of energy. Through our various projects on EU and national level as well projects for industry clients we are always at the spearhead of this development.
