Smart-e building

The European Campaign “Smart-e Buildings”, which is part of the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme (IEE) of the European Commission aims at investments in energy efficient and renewable energy technologies in the building and construction sector. In connection with the campaign the webpage www.takeyourenergyback.eu was launched providing a platform for citizens, building owners, and public authorities in order to get into contact with each other and create ideas regarding smart energy buildings. 

Moreover, the webpage includes various software-based toolboxes and a selection of good-practise examples, complemented with information on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. The participants have the possibility of sharing their knowledge and experiences by uploading examples and initiating online discussions. In order to pursue the smart-e building mobilisation campaign offline, a network of national and European Parliamentarians has been created and local authorities are invited to disseminate the message and encourage investments in buildings through local campaigns of their own.

eclareon is consulting partner in the consortium executing the campaign. In detail we designed some contents of the webpage and supervised the online PR agency. In 2012 we will co-organise some campaign events in Germany.
