Bachelor of Economics (Hanover University, 1998)

Shortly after finishing his studies in Hanover and Düsseldorf, Christoph Urbschat worked as an independent consultant and developed and co-ordinated a professional marketing network for solar energy in Hanover. From 1999 to 2000, as marketing manager at an environmental consultancy, he was in charge of the development of dissemination campaigns on behalf of the EU Commission and the implementation of marketing training workshops for solar installers and trade associations. In 2001 he started eclareon - and moved to Berlin.

Dirk Kalusa

Head of Business Promition Unit

Dirk Kalusa is a qualified social scientists. He finished his studies with a focus on International Relations at the Humboldt University in Berlin in 2006. Following the studies, he worked at the German-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. There he was responsible for market analysis and organized various business of German companies. Since November 2008 he works for eclareon, first as deputy project manager for the on-trade business energy efficiency. Since November 2010 he took over the management of the Business Promotion Unit. He speaks German as mother language, fluent English and has a good knowledge of the Slovenian language.

Edoardo Binda-Zane

Project Manager Policy Consulting Unit

Edoardo Binda Zane is an experienced professional in the fields of renewable energy, energy policy and grid connection. Prior to working as a project manager for eclareon he spent two years as a consultant in a dutch firm and one year as a researcher in an energy research centre in Milan. He holds a Higher Formation Course in Energy Finance and Commodity Trading (Politecnico di Milano School of Management) as well as a Bachelor and a Major in Economics and Management (Università Bocconi, Milan). Edoardo's thesis, centred on energy scenarios for Italy to 2020, was awarded the G.S.E. Prize (Premio G.S.E.), by the Italian Quality Committee, the Italian Electricity Services Operator and the Presidency of the Republic. He is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish and speaks German and Dutch.

Christian Grundner

Project Manager Market Intelligence Unit

Christian holds a combined degree in business administration and industrial engineering and graduated in 2009 with focus on production management and logistics from University of Rostock. In addition, he holds a post-graduate Diploma in Global Business Management awarded by the University of California, Berkeley. During his studies, he was project manager and member of the board of the student consultancy at the business school of University of Rostock. He also gained first experience in the wind energy sector as a student associate to the board of a major wind turbine manufacturer. Furthermore, he worked as executive assistant to the board of a fast growing online company and gained hands-on management and business development experience. He was also significantly involved in the investor relations and reporting as well business strategy. Since September 2010, Christian is working for the eclareon GmbH as Project Manager. He is mainly responsible for the market intelligence services and online databases offered by eclareon. Christian Grundner speaks German as mother language, and is business fluent in English.

Christian Siebel

Project Manager Business Promotion Unit     

Christian is a certified service agent with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. He graduated from focusing on peace and conflict research in the local climate at the Philipps University in Marburg.During his studies he was appointed as an employee of the market research agency SEICKEL at Frankfurt am Main with the design and organization and to the implementation and monitoring of phone acquisition. Since August 2009, Christian works for eclareon, first as an analyst, then as project manager. He speaks German as mother language, fluent English and has a good knowledge of Russian.

Doreen Neumann

Marketing Manager

Doreen is diploma management expert and event management economist in international industrial enterprises with the main emphasis of the acquirement and putting into action of marketing concepts and the CI introductions. Doreen worked for AOC International (Europe) GmbH more than eight years to professional stations with the chairman of the parliamentary group of the CDU Berlin Frank Steffel, the software service company BAAN (UK & USA). She looked after 23 countries with marketing concepts aligned with the markets here.–Doreen is diploma management expert and even putting into action as well as journey delegations just like the development of marketing concepts including budget, media and concept planning for 23 countries of the development and putting into action of a new one, international companies CI and the development and putting into action of fair and event planning, incl. delegation journeys to China, for her tasks. She speaks German and negotiation-proof English as a mother tongue.

Filip Jirouš 

Consultant

Filip Jirouš studied Eastern European Sciences at Freie Universität Berlin. During his studies, he worked as a freelancer for the German Parliament’s visitors’ service and the Prague based business consulting company Czech Trade Office. Since November 2010, Mr. Jirouš is working at eclareon as a research assistant in the policy consulting department. Inter alia, he is analysing the legal framework conditions as well as questions concerning grid connection, operation and development for RES. He was actively involved in the RES integration and RES Legal projects. Mr. Jirouš is a native speaker of both German and Czech; he is fluent in English, Polish, French and Bulgarian and has basic knowledge of Ukrainian, Russian and Spanish.
