Biomass Atlas Germany

This tool provides comprehensive up-to-date information on the German market for biomass boilers in the range of 8-100 kW using pellets, split logs and wood chips. Biomasseatlas is designed to provide companies and other stakeholders with in depth market intelligence for the biomass energy market in Germany. The database is covering all biomass boilers supported by "Market Stimulation Program" (MAP) in Germany since 2000. The main value for users is the possibility to analyze the regional distribution of installations down to a single postcode area. Based on new applications for MAP subsidies the portal is updated on a monthly basis. In 2007, eclareon initiated the development of this interactive statistical evaluation system together with the German Federal Ministry for the Environment and Nuclear Safety and the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control BAFA. The data is available through a free basic account and a premium account with professional search tools dedicated to industry analysts.
